The property was great for our family of 10 for a Christmas vacation. It was well organized, the check in process was easy. Received great communication from the management company on the day of arrival, throughout the week and was very responsive to my questions prior to arrival. The house was organized with some labeling of where items were located. My grandchildren loved the space room to play in and the theatre room. The driveway was a bit steep but manageable in the snow and we got to sled down the hill. Could have used better sleds as some were worn. Wish there were more things to do in the town but it was winter and snowing and the city doesn't clear the sidewalks for walking around. We'll have to try it in the summer. Thanks for a great stay. I would say if anything, the pictures and description didn't do the house justice. The house was fully stocked with every imaginable item that we could need and the location couldn't be beat. The supermarket was walking distance, as was the entire town (restaurants, shops, etc.). The park and playground were also right across the street so virtually in our yard. There were a couple of things that we needed from SkyRun and they were extremely quick with their responses and follow-up. Our last night, the power went out (in the entire town) for a few hours but, again, SkyRun was very responsive and helpful. My only complaint is that our stay was too short. This place was above and beyond anything we expected. The house was perfect for our group of 9. The theatre room was awesome for watching games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Finals. We explored Nederland, ate at Crosscut (delicious) one night and Busey Beers another night (delicious). Wandered thru the shops and did some hiking. Hessie Trail was fantastic. We parked at the Nederland High School and took the shuttle up to the trail head. Highly recommend.The beds were very comfortable and they had everything we needed and more. If you love your pillow, bring it with you if you can. I love my pillow and would have regretted it had I not brought it with me. Our family that flew into Colorado didn't have any issues with the pillows that were at the house though. There is a very stocked pantry with a sign of take a bottle of wine, leave a bottle of wine. There were a couple of beers left in the fridge when we got there, we tried a few and left some in the fridge for the next guest.SkyRun was great with communication from the time we booked until we checked out. And for a homey evening, the game room downstairs is a perfect chill-zone. We had a ping pong and Halo tournament going simultaneously. We had the best stay at this spacious, fully stocked, beautiful property. Linda was more than accommodating and very responsive to all of our needs. We visited Nederland with my parents, my brothers family of 4 and my family of 4. There were three bedrooms for the three adult couples and a bedroom with two bunk beds for the kids ages 8-13. They loved the movie and play rooms. We all enjoyed the quaint town - lots of great places to eat. Close to Boulder and about an hour from Estes Park. Went on hikes at Mud Lake near by. Kids caught fish in the pond right near the property (house has fishing poles in garage) and the local grocery store and liquor store are at the end of the street are very convenient. Loved our stay. A group still came to enjoy the weekend getaway, which was timely-just prior to closures and shut downs. What a lovely retreat to relax and unwind in Nederland. Thank you for staying with us! - Meredith from SkyRun March 3, 2020 - VRBO Great for families by Stacey P. Plenty of room in the house for our three families with young children. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots/pans/utensils, food storage, cooking oil, and salt/pepper, and the bagged coffee was a nice touch. Lots of fun options in the pantry like an old-school popcorn popper, baking sheets, etc (which we didn't end up using). We brought our own Brita pitcher and bottled water; the fridge water dispenser was very slow. Extra folding chairs/table in the master closet in case you need more seating or a table. Stocked games/activities closet for any kind of boredom, and a welcome basket and treats were provided. Bathrooms each had hand soap, lotion, and body wash. We sledded down the steep street/driveway with our own sleds which was so fun for the kids. Tons of extra blankets and pillows for snuggling on the couches too. The garage had snowshoes and a couple of well-used foam sleds. We did not end up using the deck or firepit since it was so cold but would have if it were spring/summer. The carousel and little shopping area is a short walk away and the kids loved the carousel and little puppet-theater nook upstairs. We didn't explore much further than that. Overall, two nights felt like plenty of time for us unless you plan to go to RMNP or something. Communication with the property management company was spotty; I texted questions and got a response 7-8 hours later (or never). We also were given the wrong keylock code so we couldn't get into the house until they figured it out and sent us a new code (which is not fun with freezing wind and snow...). They responded quickly to us being locked out so I'm not sure if they just decide how important the questions are before responding, or if the reception delays the messages??? It would also have been helpful to have explicit check-out instructions emailed (like whether to strip the beds, put all of the used towels in one place, run the dishwasher, etc). The gusty wind also meant the street and driveway quickly got covered multiple times with about a foot of snow so we spent a lot of time shoveling and it took our SUVs 4-5 tries to actually get up the hill to park the car. Rear back to build speed and gun up the hill. It's probably fine when there isn't snow. Thank you for your thoughtful review, Stacey.
